Located on the shores of Lake Elementaita, this colonial-style retreat sits within roughly 30 hectares of landscaped grounds at an altitude of 1,670 m. Built in 1916 and still preserving original character, the lodge is positioned ~120 km northwest of Nairobi and 29 km from Nakuru Town, just off the Nairobi–Nakuru highway near the historically rich Kariandusi Museum.
A total of 33 rooms: 12 twin, 10 double, and 11 triple rooms—some interconnecting for families.
Room amenities: ensuite bathrooms with bath or shower, satellite TV, mosquito nets, in‑room safe, minibar, wardrobe, and balcony seating.
In-room comforts include work desk, free Wi-Fi, and fireplace in select rooms.
• Dining venues include the historic Lord Cole Restaurant (seats 70) and terrace dining under acacias, overlooking wildlife and the lake.

A peaceful hideaway with colonial charm, outstanding birdlife, and friendly staff. The sunset views over flamingos simply took our breath away.
