Entumoto Safari Camp

Overview & Location

Entumoto Safari Camp, whose name means “meeting point” in Maa, is perched atop the Rift Valley hills within the Mara Siana Conservancy, adjacent to Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya.

The camp offers sweeping panoramic views over Mara plains and sunsets, in a uniquely wild and tranquil setting without fences—allowing wildlife free movement.

Hotel Accomodation

Guests can choose from two main camps

1. Entumoto Main Camp (Luxury)

• Vintage-style tented rooms: 5 double/twin tents and 4 family suites, each with en-suite bathrooms, fireplaces, and large verandahs overlooking the valley.
• Spacious interiors, outdoor daybeds, classic safari décor, and warm hospitality for a private and immersive experience.

2. Entumoto Toto & Wild Camp (Standard)

• Toto Camp: 3 family tents and 3 double tents, positioned closer to the main lounge, ideal for full-board guests arriving by road.
• Wild Camp: Mobile camp option within Mara Siana for an immersive wilderness stay with basic comforts, ideal for hikers and adventurers.

3. Entumoto Mobile Camp

• You can choose to stay in our mobile camp which we can set up anywhere in our conservancy. Each tent comes with comfortable beds, chairs, tables and even a hot shower at the back of the tent. There will also be toilets, a kitchen, a main dining area and a bar will be set up in the evening. Our staff will light a nice warm fire for guests every night. This is perfect for families with children who like camping out in the wilderness. It is also great for anyone who wants to get that little bit closer to nature..

Hotel Facilities & Dining

• Central lounge, bar, dining verandah, and photography lounge overlooking a natural watering hole frequented by wildlife, including elephants and buffalo.
• Curriculum-based dining experiences: farm-to-table cuisine using fresh produce from the camp’s organic garden, plus wine tastings, cooking classes, and special bush dinners or poolside meals.
• Leisure amenities: swimming pool, spa, sauna, yoga deck, library, archery, volleyball, and wellness treatments like massage and pedicures.

Activities & Experiences

• 🎯 Daily game drives (including night drives) with private conservancy access and off-road exploration—offers higher wildlife sighting opportunities than within the national reserve.
• 🚶‍♂️ Guided walking safaris in Mara Siana Conservancy with Maasai guides to track wildlife, plants, and learn local bush skills—beyond traditional vehicle game drives.
• 🚴 Cycling or trail runs within the conservancy followed by supper under acacia trees as wildlife gathers around the watering hole.
• 🌄 Sunset sundowners, bush picnics, open-air meals, and cultural excursions to Maasai villages and local rescue centers.
• 🌿 Additional experiences: hot air balloon safaris, horseback riding, wellness yoga, spa treatments, archery, and participation in local community and conservation programs.

Getting to Entumoto

• By Air: 45-minute flight from Wilson Airport to Keekorok Airstrip.
• By Road: 4–5 hour scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley.
